“Tomomi is my #BFF.
First time we met, we were both 15.
Our high school was based in just outside of Tokyo over the river.
We were brewed by the steamy inland wind in summer, and the ice cold suburban wind in winter.
9 years has passed, we became one of the girls working in Tokyo. We shared an old flat and were living together till I moved to London.
I’ve never thought about “I wanna make her happy”. I guess she neither. However, I’ve been believing “I’ll make myself happy, and she will do the right thing to make herself happy”.
We’re always been dry and independent to each other.
We struggled our life oneself, we cried oneself.
But when we get home, there was always other half of us in there.
And people who’ve never lived with their #BFF will never know how it’s like.
I didn’t do anything particular for her as well, and she neither. But we’re building each of our lives beside of each other for 12 years long now and I hope it’ll be last quite a bit more, and more.”
