“We wanted to make the most iconic love movies turn into modern points of view on what love and relationships are, on the regular-almost-boring daily life of a couple in all the ups and downs. We wanted french movies, we wanted Godard, but in a situationistic way we wanted something different to happen, we want to create a dissonance.
