Yes. Aaaaaall clear.
The fact is that they didn’t know what they really really want.
They didn’t know exactly what to wear, what to sing or what to stand up for (against racism? birkenstock? boyband?), but one thing is for sure, they were having really really really so much fan.
Because lets’ face it: the 90s were absolutely GREAT.
2Pacalypse Now was there, Left Eye was sporting a condom as single lens right before becoming CrazySexyCool with T-Boz and Chilli, while for The Notorious B.I.G: “It was all a dream, I used to read Word Up Magazine, Salt’n’Pepa and Heavy D
up in limousine”.
Linda, Naomi and Christy didn’t wake up for less than $10,000 a day, but a sixteen years old Kate Moss was having the Summer of Love with Corinne Day down to the beach at Camber Sands, right before hitting the cover of The Face.
Smell Like Teen Spirit was on the radio and the grunge was in our hearth and in our wardrobe. 1992 and Alexander McQueen was showing his first collection supported by Isabella Blow, 1993 and Marc Jacobs was named fashion designer of the year while Chloe Sevigny, Sofia Coppola and Spike Jonze were all involved in
Kim Gordons’ X-Girl label.
1996: Brenda, Kelly and Donna were already hanging togheter in Beverly Hills,
Alicia Silverstone was broken papis’ credit card in Clueless while Liv Taylor was dancing by herself in Stealing Beauty.
Leo and Claire were re-making the history in Romeo+Juliet, Dawson was on his creek and Winona and Angelina were interrupted.
Five girls were all about to spice everyones’ life, five boys were the Five and nothing else, the Backstreet Boys were trying to dance properly but the N’Sync were doing the all work better. Britney and Christina were on the stage, Alanis was Ironic, Fiona was a Criminal, Natalie was breaking up with her boyfriend but all that she wants is another baby, according with the Ace of Base.
Princess Aaliyah was secretly getting married with R Kelly and Beyonce and Kelly were still friends with LaTavia and LaToya.
