#TheWorkIssue
As Britney Spears was singing back in the 2013:
” You want a hot body? You want a Bugatti?
You want a Maserati? You better work bitch”
Hell yes girl.
You show to the world first how to back on track after shaving your head because of
a very bad nervous breakdown (#2007)
But I would quotes thousands of other inspirational songs regarding the “work thing”.
From Iggy’s “I’ve been up all night, tryna get it rich, I’ve been
work work work work working on my shit” to my favorite ever
” Workin’ 9 to 5, for service and devotion, you would think that I would deserve
a fat promotion, want to move ahead but the boss won’t seem to let me,
I swear sometimes that man is out to get me!” by the one and only Dolly.
It’s a matter of fact: your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and to be truly
satisfied you have to do what you believe is great work.
And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.
Even Confucius said “chose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
Sorry Confu, would be amazing but we are in 2018 and we are still going through lot of
trouble regarding the “dream job” and company.
Anyway we are not here to complain but to exalt everything regarding the topic.
No matter if in an office or in a factory, in a shop or in construction site,
Let’s talk about your lunch break, the fight with your colleagues, the plans to kill your boss,
let’s party if YOU are the boss!
All the emotions you can feel, live, show while working.
When you did not hear the alarm, the bad days, the good days, the spectacular failures and about learning from them.
The perseverance, the sacrifice, the preparation, determination and dedication.
The coffee, the meetings, the budget, the clients.
When finally vacations arrive and you say ciao to everyone, to the decorum and
to the diplomacy.
Stay focused on your path but don’t be too hard to yourself;
world is not as easy place to live, don’t give up!
After all, to conclude with Cindy,
“when the working day is done, oh girls they wanna have fun.”
Thank God for the aperitif.
With this issue we want to celebrate the greatest activity you can do after eat and have sex:
do the job you love or trying hard to get it.
Let’s all be busy, sexy but not so easy this time.
This issue is about work hard play harder.
