“McKinley and Jack are a couple I met last year.  Even though I’ve never really shot couples, there was something about them so laid back and genuine that I felt drawn to the idea of creating with them.  When I thought of the Boyfriend issue, I immediately thought of the two of them.  My vision was really about authentically capturing them in their element.  I went to their condo and we chatted for a bit before shooting around their space. Each of their furniture pieces was thoughtfully added to their collection in a way that you can tell they treat their interior aesthetic no different than art itself.  The minimalism within the living room made for an exceptional dance floor, and as we moved from place to place the love between these two became more and more evident.  We finished up the shoot outside in the bright Texas sunshine, and say goodbye until next time. “
